Each year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) reviews the recommended adult (anyone over 18 years old) immunization schedule to ensure that the schedule reflects current recommendations for the licensed vaccines.
The recommended adult immunization schedule has been approved by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American College of Physicians (ACP), and the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM).CDC
